On Sat 24 Feb 2024, reggae and dub legend Mad Professor spearheaded a live music extravaganza @ Fairfield Halls ably supported by The Sandra Cross Choir, Abel Miller, Askala Selassie, I Jah and the Robotics. Attendees also enjoyed a mini art exhibition that chronicled the career of Mad Professor and Ariwa Sounds through original artwork.
Mad Professor
Only two weeks to go before the Mad Professor & the Ariwa Posse spectacular. Get in the mood by listening back to the DDB session with the man himself. Prof recalls how he got started in music and muses about his celebrated career, including working with The Originator, the great U Roy and the mighty Lee “Scratch” Perry along with many other legends. Ariwa brings sweet lovers rock, roots and culture and some heavy Dub straight to your head. Photo by @RonVester.
