With a father who made guitars, an uncle that jammed with Ernest Ranglin and a brother, Leroy ‘Sir Lord Cuttings’ Cole, that selected for Duke Reid the Trojan, it’s no surprise that he had a natural ability to write hit songs. Stranger walks us through his celebrated career and talks about his classic duets with Millicent ‘Patsy’ Todd, Ken Boothe, Gladstone Anderson among others, and the inspiration behind various tracks including the classic ‘Bangarang’.
